AFS® DESKTOP SOFTWARE FOR INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND APPLICATION CONTROL

Designed to fit your operation’s needs, Case IH AFS® desktop software offers the flexibility and analysis power to support all your precision farming needs. Generate yield maps, as-applied maps, prescription maps and more from a single, integrated software package. Plus, create soil sampling maps, create and print reports and import satellite imagery. No matter your data source – the AFS Pro 700 monitor, your crop consultant, or an ag retailer or other supplier – you can easily import and manage the data using your AFS desktop software. The software supports all of the major precision farming systems on the market, including Trimble, Ag Leader and GreenStar.

Advanced guidance line management

With the AFS Software, you can manage and modify all your guidance lines. Later on, you can export them back to an AFS Pro 300/700, FM-750™ or FM-1000™ display. This ensures all machines will utilize the same guidance lines and with RTK they will find these lines again by 2cm every operation and every season.

Single-source solution

Management Tools to help you tie it all together.
Case IH AFS software lets you manage, view and edit all the precision farming data collected with your AFS equipment, as well as other precision farming data sources. Organize all your data with a single software program, then generate and print layouts, reports and charts. Share maps and reports with landlords, consultants, etc.

In-field efficiency

Create setups for all your equipment

Keying in setup data on an in-cab display can be a time-consuming process. Case IH AFS desktop software saves time and trouble by allowing you to create setup cards (Growers, Farms, Fields, Boundaries, etc.) for your all Case IH AFS equipment as well as most other major brands of equipment. The software lets you create, manage and export your guidance patterns and store them for future use with any vehicles used in the same field.

Multiple file formats

Import/Export flexibility for reference and analysis

Case IH AFS desktop software makes it easy to import and export data in a variety of file formats, including ESRI Shape, ASCII text, and BMP, JPEG, GeoTIFF or TIF image files. That flexibility among common file types simplifies analysis, mapping, charting and planning. Plus, you can import and view georeferenced image files for reference against your data.

Data-driven management

Learn more about your fields…and your yields

With Case IH AFS desktop software, it’s simple to overlay multiple layers of data on the same maps. That lets you reference one type of information to another, for instance, referencing yield to crop varieties that were planted. Plus, you can create variable-rate prescriptions for your Case IH AFS equipment (and other major application equipment brands) without hiring a consultant.

Regulatory record keeping

Simplify your government reporting

Case IH AFS desktop software makes regulatory record keeping easier than ever. Regulatory application operations are designed to keep track of and organize all the relevant information. There’s no simpler way to keep records for the government.

Spatial data sorting

Keep your data organized

Even if you store or record data under an incorrect field name, Case IH AFS desktop software allows spatial sorting of data by field or farm to ensure your data is properly and easily organized.

Query tools

Dig deeper for more detail

Case IH AFS desktop software offers query tools that allow you to examine specific areas of your field to help you diagnose problems or determine how to get more out of your land. That means you can “deep dive” into a specific area for more detailed information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Can I use my AFS Pro 700 for soil sampling ?

R: The Pro 700 does not support soil sampling features. The workaround for this is when scouting with the display, mark an obstacle or a rock at the sample locations. These field marks will then come through in the desktop software.

This also works creating obstacles or features in the Desktop Software and exporting to the display to show where to dig.

Q:Does the Pro 700 save data to the internal memory of the display ?

R: The AFS Pro 700 display does not save all data to the internal memory. To save mapping data, a USB memory device must be installed in the display during operation. Examples of mapping data include: combine mapping (yield and moisture), as-applied mapping (seed, fertilizer, herbicide, etc.), vehicle data mapping (fuel used, engine load, slip, etc.). If operating without a USB, mapping data will be shown on the display, but when the display is shut down, it will not be saved. There is no way to recover this data.

Q: Is a USB stick included with the purchase of new equipment ?

R: Combines are the only units that ship from the factory with a Case IH approved USB stick. The USB stick is found in the plastic pouch with the combine operator’s manuals.

Contact your dealer to purchase the recommended USB stick.

Q : My yield data is no longer visible on my display.

R: The display contains a feature called “Season Setup Date”. Once the “season setup date” passes, data prior to that date will be archived and not visible on the display.

Data prior to the season setup date can be viewed in the desktop software.
